Vacancy: Control Systems Engineer
Our expanding business has led to vacancies for experienced Control
Systems Engineers.
Responsibilities will include design, implementation, testing,
installation, commissioning and support of mission critical process
control, automation and information management systems, primarily
to the power and process industries.
Qualifications:
HNC/ HND/ Degree in Electrical Engineering or numerate discipline.
Skills:
- Design, implementation, installation & commissioning of
PLC based control systems in process industries (Oil & Gas,
Water treatment etc).
- Team working within a project environment.
- ISO9001 principles and practices.
Experience:
Two to five years experience of designing and implementing PLC/SCADA
based control systems. Position mainly office based will include
site working and possibly offshore. Experience of such would be
preferred, but not essential.
Previous experience of the water treatment industry a definite
advantage.
Excellent customer-facing, teamwork and communication skills a
must.
“PLC/SCADA based control systems” is deemed to include:
PLC hardware, including network and serial communications, PLC
component selection and design;
PLC software, including interfacing to other computer systems, typically
PC based SCADA;
Familiarity with Siemens PLC/SCADA equipment required, Rockwell
and GE Fanuc would also be preferred.

Vacancy: Software Engineers
We are one of the UK's leading systems integrators, with over thirty

of Software Engineers for our Aberdeen operation.
Required skills/experience:
- Proven experience of design, programming and implementation
of software solutions in Process Industries.
- Proven software development experience in VB.NET amd VBA.
- Excellent customer-facing, teamwork and communication skills
and a self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to solving problems
for customers are essential.
- Teamworking in an ISO9001 project environment.
Oil & Gas Industry experience, knowledge of OSIsoft's PI system,
SCADA/DCS packages and process/metering instrumentation would all
be highly advantageous.
